ok, I try again, for the third time.
I apologise for the last two mails but something's not working with my mail
deliverer.
I've just updated laptop-mode-tools to 1.49
i'm running Debian squeeze on a IBM Thinkpad r40, kernel 2.6.30
if I'm on battery power, with the option "battery level polling" enabled,
when I try to stop/start/restart laptop mode it hangs until I kill it
manually.
this issue avoid me to shut down my notebook without the ac adapter plugged
in
on ac power all works properly
I looked at the syslog but nothing seems to be wrong, I've noticed that if I
try to stop lm (on battery with the voice "battery level polling" enabled)
the process "/usr/share/laptop-mode-tools/module-helpers/lm-polling-daemon"
is the one who doesn't stop, if I kill it manually and restart lm this
process hangs again...
sincerely I think about a bug but I'm not sure.
regards
